Thesis For WordPress ? Outperforms other wordpress themes?

Thesis theme has developed a reputation as being the best premium wordpress theme/framework on the market. A wordpress framework goes past a ‘theme’ because it sits between the core wordpress code and the design of a site. Chris Pearson has some strong opinions, and by buying Thesis you kind of buy into Chris’s viewpoint about software. If you’re like most people you just want a site that works, and Thesis does certainly provide this.

- From time to time you’ll require a theme where aesthetics are much more important than the efficiency and code of a site. In cases like this, another theme ‘out the box’ might work better. Me, I like to spend some time customizing Thesis to look like those other sites – this way, if I want to change the look of my site at some point, I don’t change any of the underlying code base (and hence risk losing all my search engine rankings).

Thesis Theme 2.0

The way things stand, Thesis 2.0 hasn’t yet been launched. I propose checking this out right away, mainly because if you purchase the Developer’s license for thesis ahead of Chris releases 2.0, you get a no cost upgrade to it once it is released. So this is a good deal because the price of 2.0 is going to increase.

I’m a fan of the theme, and when I speak with anybody setting up a blog or a web site, I advise they a) use WordPress and b) Use Thesis theme on top of wordpress.
